Escape in You by Rachel Schurig – Cover Reveal
Genre: New Adult, Contemporary
Release Date: October 15, 2013
Hello all, glad you could join us for COVER REVEAL WEEK – well not really, we just signed up for a few cover reveals this week and wanted a cool title to show for it… LOL.
Anyway, if you read my cover reveal post for Choosing You, you will know that I mentioned that I am terrible in the way that I judge a book by its cover… and to be honest, I am not a fan of this cover. I like the font but I don’t really like the picture. It doesn’t to me (personal opinion – don’t kill me) do the synopsis justice. I signed up for this cover reveal as I really liked the synopsis, quintessential bad boy, girl who needs a distraction, opposites attract ect. but I think the cover should have had more of a focus on this bad boy, the font should have been darker to focus on the bad boy vibe of the book and the girl with one eye is sort of freaking me out in a creepy way.. like I have my one EYE on you.. I don’t know, I have admitted in the past that I am quite weird 😛 Moving on…. the guy sort of looks like your typical, mysterious bad boy so big ticks there, but nothing else is pulling me in. It might just be me, but that is what I reckon. Anyway, don’t let my nutty analysis deter you, read on for the synopsis and tell me what you think of it!
Jet Taylor is the quintessential bad boy. A womanizer. A fighter. Dangerous. The type of guy most girls do their best to avoid.
But Zoe Janes is no saint herself. In fact, she sees in Jet the perfect opportunity to distract herself from her responsibilities at home and the mistakes that keep her trapped there. He’s gorgeous, likes to party, and is clearly only interested in having fun—just like Zoe. But the more time they spend together the harder it is to stick to her “fun only” mantra. Jet is getting under her skin, making her believe things could actually be different. She knows they’re both trapped by the sins of their past but Jet is starting to make her think freedom might actually be possible.
And that makes him the most dangerous boy of all.
